About the Joseph's Studio® Nativity Collection: The Joseph's Studio® 39" Scale Statues depict the birth of Christ in the village of Bethlehem. Not to be confused with Fontanini® that is made in Italy, Joseph's Studio® is beautiful in its own right and a more affordable option by being sourced from China and made of Resin vs a marble mix; if cost is a concern For church or home, these statues are appropriate for either. Although designed for indoor use, many of our parish customers choose to place outside in a covered structured stable. We do suggest using a UV spray to protect against prolonged sun damage. These are handpainted with great detail. In 2003, a young artist named Joseph - whose sculpting ability was like none other - caught the eyes of the executives at Roman Inc as they traveled the world for new art. Joseph captures the two-dimensional, classic Renaissance style in three-dimensional figures better than anyone, and his excellent craftsmanship forges one of the most equisite religious lines for holy art in the world.
